For my first class at this facility, last Sunday's (6/22) Vinyasa class was all about grounding—because sometimes you’ve just have to unplug from the noise, roll out your mat, and come back home to your body.
We started slow and steady with some gentle seated stretches to wake up the hips and spine, melting into deep forward folds that reminded us it’s okay to let gravity do the work sometimes.
We flowed through an earthy sequence of Bridge Pose and a few grounding (shaky legs, strong roots!). Each pose helped us plant our feet firmly on the mat and feel our connection to something bigger than our to-do lists.
We paused for some sweet child’s poses, sprinkled in cat-cows to soothe the spine, and played with staying rooted—even when life wobbles us around.
To settle the mind, we practiced box breathing, inhaling calm and exhaling the mental clutter. We closed with a guided grounding meditation and Sound Bath, feeling our bodies supported by the earth beneath us, and sealed it all with a few minutes in Savasana—where everyone looked so blissed out I almost left them there overnight.
Big love to everyone who showed up to breathe, flow, and root down with me. May you carry that grounded energy into the rest of your week—feet on the earth, mind at ease.
See you on the mat soon! 🌱🧘🏽♀️✨
