Who would have known that 7 days could provide an exciting and free-spirited adventure.
Thank you, Amsterdam and Rotterdam, for your beautiful canals ๐ค and streets filled with history, diverse cultures, open conversations & museum information about the oldest profession in the Red Light ๐จ District, delicious meals, and especially, my favorite, the Dutch fries. ๐ This will make trip number 4 for me and I love seeing something new every single time.
Thank you Paris ย for your nostalgic architecture, artistic vibe, friendly police officers, the amazing views of the city from the Eiffel Tower, and lastly, the fresh baked croissants.
Thank you, United Kingdom, for your diversity of cultures, interesting people, intriguing conversations, British hospitality, 12-hour open bar ๐ฅ wedding ๐พ celebrations, introductions, reuniting, & expansion of family. I WILL BE BACK!
Now you KNOW I had to shout out my favorite foodie ๐ฝ spots during my Euro trip. Thank you to The Seafood Bar (2 Seafood Platters, Crab Cakes, Lemon Meringue Tart) & The Breakfast Club (British Breakfast, Omelet with Bacon/Avocado, Buttermilk Pancakes๐ฅ & THE BEST MIMOSA EVER๐ฅ) in Amsterdam and the Get Back in Rotterdam for three of the most spectacular meals. I really don't know what we Americans are eating here because the food over there has an authentic freshness/flavor I haven't tasted since I was a kid. ๐ค๐ And yes, those eggs really did look like that (no Photoshop) ... absolutely amazing.
Just in case you're curious, here are some other candid shots of my experiences, connections, and overall memories.
