About the event
There's something poetic about being asked to sing at a Harlem Renaissance gala — a night literally built around honoring where we've come from and calling in where we're headed. That's the energy I try to hold in every reading, every episode of Come Through Podcast, and now, apparently, on stage in front of a room full of you.
On Saturday, October 3rd, I'll be part of the singing lineup for the NAACP Santa Clarita Branch's 2026 Harlem Renaissance Gala — an evening of music, community, and collective intention, hosted at CalArts starting at 6PM.
If you've ever felt pulled to show up for something bigger than yourself, this is one of those moments.
